A friendly group for mothers raising their children through Irish or bilingually

Toddlers le Gaeilge is organised by Caolfhionn Ní Fhrighil, under Clár as Gaeilge and the Teanga Tí project. A group of mothers regularly meet with their children to enjoy fun activities in Irish – in a relaxed, informal, and friendly setting.

Here’s a taste of the events we’ve enjoyed so far this year:

Some of our events:

  • Soft play at Planet, Ennis

  • The Speks at Glór, with a pre-meeting in the café

  • Music session at Cathy’s house

  • Visit to the Play Inn, Dromoland

  • Easter hunt at GMC

  • Play in the park at Cora Caitlín

  • Trip to Inis Oírr

  • Beach visit at Leacht

  • Meeting in Bunratty

  • Sensory play with Leanne, Cuinche Hall

  • Halloween party, Gaelscoil Mhíchíl Cíosóg

  • Soft play at Planet

  • Christmas party, Gaelscoil Mhíchíl Cíosóg

We work with Teanga Tí to organise activities that support parents who want to bring Irish into their children’s everyday lives.

Teanga Tí is a support scheme offering opportunities for parents to connect, share experiences, and discuss questions about raising children through Irish.

Through the scheme, parents who are raising their children in Irish – or thinking about it – can talk with other parents who have made similar choices, share advice, and learn from one another.

It’s also a great way to network in a practical and supportive way. This parent-to-parent service is completely free.
